Group therapy makes use of others to heal and learn. All group participants, including the conductor, affiliate and associate in order to help and cure each other, through mutual knowledge and reciprocal acknowledgment. In a group there are not only interpretations of others and oneself but also encounters in which each other is resonated and mirroring is volunteered.

Group Analysis enables both a deep understanding of situations as well as practice of interpersonal learning, or as S.H.Foulkes called it: ego training in-action. Group participants meet their own psychic life together with social patterns in a huge hall of mirrors and learn to know themselves through the others. Similarities and differences, gaps and twinship and other aspects of mental life find each other in a huge matrix of interpersonal connections.
